IMF to Unload a Portion of Gold Reserves

April 2, 2009: Economic Times reports on the IMF plan to unload gold:
""Prices are set to dip further once the IMF declares the quantity of gold it wishes to sell. Already, the precious metal is down and speculation is rife that about 400 tonnes may be offloaded from the reserve. But we will have to see," said Suresh Hundia, Director of the Bombay Bullion Association."
